Lamborghini recently brought its latest model: Countach LPI 800-4 to the Milan Design Week exhibition event. The car is located in the exhibition space at Superstudio Più, Via Tortona 27. This space was created in collaboration with CRA – Carlo Ratti Associati studio and Lamborghini.
Lamborghini’s appearance at Milan Design Week is understandable when special cars like the Countach LPI 800-4 have been developed from the classic angular design lines of the legendary Countach. The car is limited to 112 units and is a futuristic homage to a car that redefined the supercar look.
This exhibition space also has the appearance of the Lamborghini Countach LP400 – a historical prototype that brings a completely groundbreaking future for the Lamborghini brand. In addition, the brand also offers the Aventador Ultimae – the final Aventador version and a commemorative car for the successful car line equipped with a naturally aspirated V12 engine. There is also a dedicated space to celebrate the design collaboration with Tecnomar and iGuzzini.
CRA-Carlo Ratti Associati chose the exhibition location in the heart of an art gallery to celebrate Lamborghini’s age-old craftsmanship and technology. In a space of 825 square meters, this exhibition space has created a space with a unique experience journey with charm and mystery. The three Lamborghinis are displayed in different display cases covered with curtains. The trio of cars are illuminated with high-end lighting, motion graphics and carefully constructed footage played to evoke the design of supercars.
Lamborghini designers will illustrate the brand’s design DNA throughout the event using sketching and Tape Drawing skills. These two techniques are still used every day at Lamborghini Centro Stile to design and develop the brand’s new models. The long heritage of the Lamborghini brand combined with modern design and engineering is the inspiration for the exhibition’s title: Future Is Our Legacy.
Visitors can also get to see Scribit – A writing and erasing robot that turns any flat surface into an interactive canvas for displaying graphic and textual content. This robot was named one of the 100 Best Inventions of 2019 by TIME Magazine. The Robot’s initial campaign on Kickstarter was one of the 150 Best Crowdfunding Campaigns Ever. At the Lamborghini booth, Scribit will chart the Countach’s decades-long development process.
This space also displays a 1:6 model of Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63. This yacht was created under the cooperation of two Lamborghini brands and Tecnomar yacht company – a subsidiary of The Italian Sea Group. . These two Italian brands joined hands and designed this yacht with a series of details inspired by Lamborghini’s Hypercar Hybrid model: Sian. This yacht model is a unique design, different from the majority of other yacht models at the present time.
Countach LPI 800-4 is an extremely bold project when Lamborghini decided to “revive” its most impressive legend of the 20th century. This car model is known as a turning point for the young supercar brand at that time. It is the angular design with the sharp and sloping front design as well as the scissor door structure that has made the Lamborghini brand famous as well as the car model that “laid the foundation” for the later Lamborghini V12 series such as Diablo, Murcielago or even the most successful V12 model Aventador. The overall design of the Countach LPI 800-4 is a modernization of the details of past versions of the original Countach, combined with some details inspired by today’s top modern supercars. now like Sian.
