Watches and Wonders 2023 marks the introduction of some exciting updates, and for TAG Heuer those updates came for the Aquaracer Professional 200. For the first time, this successful diver’s watch is presented in a solid yellow or pink gold case. This material choice ends the timepiece with a profoundly elegant appearance.
Equally new is the movement, the TH31-00, which is produced and assembled exclusively for TAG Heuer by the mechanical specialist AMT, based in La Chaux-de-Fonds.
The self-winding movement offers a remarkable 80-hour power reserve, just like the manufactured chronograph caliber Heuer 02. Visible through a sapphire crystal caseback, it is also certified as a chronometer. The 40-mm case remains water-resistant to 20 bar.
The pink gold rendition sports a black luminous dial that transitions into a bronze gray center. The yellow gold model boasts a blue gradient dial on which the indexes are similarly furnished in matching gold color. Both watches are worn on color-coordinated rubber straps with black DLC-coated stainless steel folding clasp and quick extension.
Pricing for the new TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 is marked at $18,400 for both executions.
