Perrelet , the distinguished Swiss watchmaker with iconic roots dating back to the earliest days of watchmaking, is set to make its spectacular debut at WatchTime New York 2023 . This highly anticipated three-day watch collecting event will take place at the prestigious Gotham Hall in Manhattan from October 20 to 22. Featuring more than thirty renowned brands, engaging discussions industry and rich watch experience, WatchTime New York 2023 promises to be an epic celebration of timekeeping. Perrelet will introduce its latest product, the Turbine 41 Titanium, a testament to the brand’s commitment to innovation and modern design.

On the stage of Geneva Watch Days 2023, Perrelet introduced the Turbine 41 Titanium for the first time. The new watch marks a significant evolution of the brand’s iconic style by featuring a smaller case size of 41 mm in diameter. This size reduction is the first time the brand has reduced case size since 2009 when it began producing 44mm cases exclusively, with the development responding to market times increasingly demanding smaller case sizes.

The highlight of the Turbine 41 Titanium, like all Perrelet watches, is its mesmerizing rotating turbine, inspired by aviation propulsion systems. Like this case, the turbine has also been miniaturized, demonstrating the brand’s mechanical engineering capabilities. Requiring meticulous assembly to ensure it turns gracefully with the slightest movement of the wrist, the turbine consists of 12 black anodized aluminum blades with five counterweights, which together create form and function.

Perrelet offers the new Turbine 41 Titanium in ten variations. Four models feature polished/brushed grade 2 titanium cases with matching integrated straps, with lower dials available in blue, green, red or black. The remaining six versions feature a black DLC titanium case with a rubber strap that matches the color of the sub-dial: yellow, orange, red, English green, blue or black.

The Turbine 41 Titanium maintains the aesthetics of the Turbine EVO collection, launched in 2019 to celebrate 10 years of patented Turbine technology. The case and strap have a smooth bezel, the middle of the case has a vertical groove, three lugs and a prominent crown decorated with the brand’s logo. Notably, the new watch introduces slightly redesigned hour and minute hands, completely coated with white luminescent material, enhancing readability even in low light conditions.

Leading the updated Perrelet is the self-winding P-331-MH, a new movement designed entirely in-house and manufactured by Soprod, a sister brand of Perrelet, part of the Festina Group. The automatic mechanism has a frequency of 28,800 vph and a power reserve of 42 hours, with horology certifications from COSC and Chronofiable. You can admire the movement’s finishing, including the rhodium-plated bridges and circular graining, through the sapphire crystal caseback.

The new Perrelet Turbine 41 Titanium collection will be available to purchase from authorized retailers worldwide starting fall 2023, with a marked price of $4,750 USD when equipped with a rubber strap. and $4,850 on a titanium strap.
