Renowned Swiss watchmaker Carl F. Bucherer this month updated one of the sportiest designs in their portfolio, releasing four new colorways for the brand’s Manero Central Counter. The original variation of this design made its debut last fall, then was released as a limited edition chronograph for those with active lifestyles, from those who love to travel, outdoor enthusiasts to urban explorers.

Produced in a black color scheme with green accents, the original 2022 version spoke of a distinctive energy, while this latest expansion serves to broaden the appeal of the watch, with new color options including blue, salmon, brown and green versions—each produced with black accents. These new versions of the Manero Center Counter will act as Carl. F. Bucherer highlights at this weekend’s WatchTime New York 2023 event, where more than 35 incredible brands are set to showcase some of the most impressive watches of the year from October 20 to 22 at the Hall Gotham in Manhattan.

At first sight, the Manero Central Counter impresses with its sporty character. The carbon-coated bezel, black sub-dials displaying the chronograph function, and black hybrid rubber strap are testament to its robust and sporty design, while the 42.5 mm x 14” steel case, 43 mm with modern buttons keeping the same design. Whether you’re at the gym, rushing to your next meeting, or taking a casual stroll through the city, this watch can make you feel right at home.

On closer inspection, the intricate details and subtle colors of the watches reveal timepieces of versatile design. The dial’s four nature-inspired colorways combined with the sunburst brushed finish, help the Manero Central Counter transcend leisurewear and blend into more creative or luxurious occasions, while the accents The black and other dial details add just the right amount of contrast to enhance the look’s high feel and aesthetic appeal.

Beneath the exterior of the Manero Center Counter is the CFB 1967 caliber. The automatic mechanism has a standard power reserve of approximately 40-44 hours, showing on the dial the running time, 24-hour day/night indicator hour, stopwatch and date. The centrally mounted oscillating weight, inspired by CFB’s energy star logo, is visible through the sapphire crystal case back.
