Founded in 2010 by industrial designer Benoît Mintiens, Ressence embraces a “Less is More” philosophy, abandoning some of the elements that have defined traditional watches for decades. Launched in 2013 and since then sought after by fans of independent and Avantgarde watchmaking, the TYPE 3 stunned the watch industry by becoming the pioneering oil-filled mechanical watch awarded The prestigious “Horological Watchmaking” award at the Grand Prix d’ Horlogerie de Genève in the same year.
Building on Ressence’s signature crownless case design, the TYPE 3 features seamless, edge-to-edge sapphire crystals on both the front and back, resembling the smooth contours of a natural pebble . This tactile quality feels as satisfying in the hand as it is on the wrist. Now, to add vibrancy to its core range, TYPE 3 EE introduces the captivating Eucalyptus Green color.
However, the TYPE 3 EE not only adds a pop of color but also introduces new design elements. The hour disc boasts a simplified graphical approach with bi-hourly indicators, while the weekend and oil temperature indicators sport fresh pastel colors.

Fitted with a 44mm titanium case and paired with a honeycomb strap, the new Eucalyptus Green watch harmoniously complements the existing TYPE 3 Black and White models. Scheduled for a global release in early October 2023 through Ressence’s official retail network, the TYPE 3 EE is priced at CHF 38,200 (excluding taxes), or approximately USD 43,300 at the time of writing.
