The three-day event, taking place in midtown Manhattan at Gotham Hall from October 20 to 22, promises to deliver a sophisticated showcase of timekeeping excellence from more than 30 participating brands. family. The new Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automatic is second-generation of the brand’s chronograph, following the initial introduction of the design in 2020. Once again embodying the Streamliner’s uniquely minimalist and fluid design and representing the unique brand’s modern interpretation of a chronograph watch, the watchmaker aims with the model to improve it slightly with its cutting-edge production capabilities. As such, the new iteration has been updated with a transparent logo and more contemporary anthracite finishes on the ingenious chronograph movement.
On the wrist, the Streamliner Flyback Chronograph Automation 2.0 boasts a pillow-shaped stainless steel construction covered by a slightly domed sapphire crystal, radiating to a diameter of 42.3 mm and a height of 14.2 mm. . This innovatively designed case incorporates chronograph pushers at 10 and 2 o’clock and a distinctive screw-in crown decorated with an engraved “M” at 4 o’clock. Notably, this watch is dynamically water resistant up to 12 ATM, or approximately 120m, allowing the watch to easily transition from adventures on land to adventures underwater. The integrated steel bracelet, featuring a folding clasp with three steel blades engraved with the Moser logo, also ensures a very distinctive style of wearing along with refined comfort.
The dial of the new H. Moser, like the previous 2020 version, features a mesmerizing Funky Blue fumé pattern with a sunburst finish. Active Signature Streamliner hands for the running hour and minute indicators each feature a Globolight insert for enhanced visibility, while a running seconds hand and red chronograph seconds hand accompany the duo. Around the dial, stylized minute markers elegantly track the passing seconds and minutes, with a curved outer flange adding familiar chronograph functionality via a tachymetric scale.
Powering this watch is the H. Moser & Cie. The exceptional Caliber HMC 907, a self-winding movement developed in collaboration with Agenhor. With a diameter of 34.4 mm, this movement operates at a frequency of 21,600 vibrations/hour. It features two-way winding, a tungsten oscillating weight placed between the movement and dial, and a double barrel for a minimum power reserve of 72 hours. The bridges and mainplate of the movement are decorated with anthracite gray rhodium plating and 45° Moser stripes. The Streamliner’s chronograph function is nothing short of an engineering marvel for the brand, with a column wheel mechanism, a two-stage mechanism and a horizontal clutch with friction wheel. The movement can be seen in all its exquisite finishing through a sapphire exhibition caseback.
