It took the two brands a total of two years to complete the research and development of this engine block. According to Pagani, this is the lightest, most powerful and most efficient racing engine ever produced.

This engine block weighs only about 198 kg, thereby contributing to reducing the overall weight of the Italian racing car. The vehicle is also equipped with a direct fuel injection system with injection pressure up to 200 bar to optimize performance by maximizing thermodynamic efficiency and freedom of injection flow. In addition, the car also has a new 6-speed sequential transmission developed by Pagani with HWA AG.
