The same is true of the latest addition to the line introduced during Geneva Watch Days 2023, the Artelier S. The time-only wristwatch has a thin, almost pebble-like, sugar-coated stainless steel case. 38mm glass and a modest bezel. The lugs elegantly pass over the lugs and surround the smooth leather strap. The hands are gently tapered and coated with a thin layer of lume to ensure good readability at night and in low light conditions.
The Artelier S comes in two colors: a deep black version and a mature green option, the latter of which pays subtle homage to the brand’s roots in the lush Waldenburg Valley of Switzerland. At its heart is the self-winding Oris caliber 733, based on the Sellita SW200. It is equipped with Oris’ signature red propeller that can be seen through the exhibition case back.
The two Oris Artelier S models will be available from August 2023 and retail for 1,900 CHF or about 1,300 USD when converted to USD.
