BTS’s V has officially joined the family of global ambassadors for ‘Cartier’ jewelry and will represent one of ‘Cartier’s’ iconic product lines – ‘Panthère de Cartier’.
French luxury jewelry brand Cartier has chosen BTS member and K-pop star V as its newest brand ambassador and the face of its Panthère de Cartier campaign. In particular, the global idol star was chosen because of his resemblance to the leopard, considered one of the most intelligent and versatile animals in nature.

V, whose real name is Kim Taehyung, was chosen because of his “creative spirit and attractive eyes like a leopard”, according to Cariter’s representative. “When it came to expressing the charisma and aura of the cheetah, our choice was V,” said Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Arnaud Carrez.
In V’s first campaign for Cartier, the South Korean star shows off pieces from the iconic Panthère jewelry collection: a sculpted diamond ring, a tête-à-tête panthère bracelet and a watch Révélation d’une Panthère, everything he wears has an aura of boldness.
In her first campaign as Cartier ambassador, V wore a Panthère de Cartier necklace and a ring of yellow gold, tsavorite garnet and onyx.
In being added to the ranks of Cartier ambassadors, V joins a group of high-profile Asian celebrities, including Blackpink’s Jisoo, Got7’s Jackson Wang, Indian actor Deepika Padukone and legendary Chinese actor Gong Profit. V’s addition to the ambassador team reinforces Cartier’s commitment to celebrating diversity and attracting influential talent from around the world. V’s new role also emphasizes his strong stylistic influences; The singer is also the brand ambassador for French luxury fashion label Celine, while his band BTS is the face of Louis Vuitton.
On September 19, Vogue magazine revealed the cover for its October issue, BTS’ V is adorned with jewelry from French luxury watch and jewelry brand Cartier.
V’s unique voice, impressive dancing skills, and bold fashion sense have cemented V’s status as an influential global icon. While V is known as a member of BTS, the star is also slowly building his solo discography that includes hits like “Stigma”, “Singularity” and “Inner Child”.
