Unveiled at Dubai Watch Week 2023 is the new Chopard Alpine Eagle Summit collection. Perhaps the most elaborate and refined of Chopard’s integrated sports watch collection to date, the Alpine Eagle Summit collection includes four precious metal models with gem-set bezels.

All done in a 41mm wide by 9.7mm thick case (100m water resistance), the Alpine Eagle Summit watch comes in four varieties: yellow gold on a “Golden Peak” dial with a pink and white sapphire bezel; rose gold “Pink Dawn” dial set with orange spessartite and white sapphires; white gold “Vals Grey” dial set with tsavorite and white sapphires; and finally, most impressive of all, a white gold model featuring a “Zinal Blue” dial with blue and purple sapphires. All four Alpine Eagle Summit watches are made of ethical gold and contain a COSC-certified Chopard 01.15-C movement with a 60-hour power reserve.

This “Zinal Blue” dial is inspired by the natural colors of the Alpine Landscape, specifically the Blue Zinal glacier in the Swiss Alps. The beautifully vibrant dial transitions seamlessly from blue to purple as you move the dial without a single shade or color remaining the same for a few minutes. Without exaggeration, it is one of the most brilliantly finished dials I have seen in recent times. Chopard achieved this through PVD treatment using “target material pellets” placed on the dial. Instead of pigments, these colors come from specific gas mixtures with different exposure times. And of course, the signature deeply textured Alpine Eagle dial also plays a role in achieving the Zinal Blue effect.

Of course, the remaining three Alpine Eagle Summit dials are also inspired by nature. “Golden Peak” comes from the mountain found in the Swiss Alps, “Vals Grey” is named after the quartz stone found in the Canton of Graubünden and is often used to build residential walls and roofs. Vals village, and the “Pink Dawn” dial is simply inspired by the natural beauty of the early light of the sun rising over the mountains.

The Chopard Alpine Eagle Summit “Pink Dawn” (Ref. 295363-5013) in rose gold is priced at $77,600, while the “Golden Peak” (Ref. 295363-0002) in rose gold, “Vals Grey” in white gold (Ref. . 295363-1008) and “Zinal Blue” (Ref. 295363-1007) are priced at $85,400 and will be sold exclusively at Chopard boutiques.
