With cute puppy eyes, long soft ears and meticulously white fur, Snoopy is probably the most prominent and beloved dog in the world. The talented beagle, who communicates through dance moves, is known for his diverse cultural interests and sporting activities – from fine painting and world literature (Tolstoy’s War and Peace) to skiing figure skating and surfing (black sunglasses included). Since 1950, Snoopy has been Charlie Brown’s loyal companion in Charles M. Schulz’s Peanuts.
To celebrate the 55th anniversary of the Seiko 5 Sports collection, two stainless steel Limited Editions based on the SKX Sports Style and Field Sports Style models are now being released. The image of the Peanuts character was adapted from the original newspaper cartoons.
On the dial of the SRPK25K1, Snoopy is a surfer on a custom Seiko 5 Sports design panel. The reverse depicts the beagle in action. With a diameter of 38 mm, the watch is limited to 8,900 pieces and is water resistant to 10 bar. A nice detail is the one-way bezel font, inspired by the original Peanuts font.

The design of the SRPK27K1 sees Snoopy flying through the air like a helicopter, with his beagle ears serving as propellers. His companion Woodstock sitting on his lap is depicted as a pilot.
Limited to 6,500 pieces, the back of the watch features an umbrella following the original Seiko 5 Sports design. This new product has a diameter of 36 mm and is also water resistant at a pressure of 10 bar. Both watches are driven by Seiko’s 4R36 self-winding movement and feature Lumibrite on the dial for easy nighttime reading. They will be available from June 2023.
