Legendary collector Barry Skolnick sold the McLaren P1 and Lamborghini Aventador SV on Sotheby’s online marketplace.
Sotheby’s Motorsport, a joint venture between the duPont REGISTRY Group ecosystem and luxury auto auction house RM Sotheby’s, has announced two new cars from legendary collector Barry Skolnick’s The Ikonick collection.
The Ikonick Collection is the brainchild of businessman and philanthropist Skolnick, and Ikonick is home to some of the world’s finest art and automobiles. The Ikonick collection has more than 125 supercars, hypercars and classic cars.
For the first time, cars from the Ikonick collection are being sold publicly and this time there are 2 car models including the McLaren P1 manufactured in 2014 with a starting price of 1 million USD. Considered one of the top supercars of the hypercars line, this model is a limited production run of 375 cars (this car is serial number 110).
The McLaren P1 being auctioned has a white color scheme with black accents. McLaren P1 serial number 110 belongs to The Ikonick collection from 2017, odo has traveled more than 2,000 miles (about 3,218 km). Auction prices and information will be displayed live until October 26.
Skolnick’s second supercar to be auctioned online is the 2017 Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster that he bought new. The starting price is from 300,000 USD and the auction starts from October 19 to November 2. This SV Roadster is painted Rosso red, has custom Novitec exterior components, and has 396 miles (637 km).

Unlike many collectors who keep their collections private, Skolnick decided to share his collection with the world by opening The Ikonick Collection located in Miami, Florida.
The Ikonick Collection is part art gallery, garage and event space. Visitors can admire more than 150 selected cars along with sculptures and paintings from famous local and global artists.
